We use Cupro instead of silk as it has a similar lush look, touch and feel and it is really nice to wear in warmer temperatures.
Cupro is a “regenerated cellulose” fabric made from cotton waste. It’s in the same family of fabrics as rayon, viscose, Tencel, Modal, and Lycocell, which are all made from plant-based materials that are chemically processed to produce a smooth fabric.
